Weeks 14 and 15

Mmmmm Strawberries! I. Love. Strawberries. I eat them every morning in my cereal and plain throughout the day. Still Loving those cuties oranges too. I must be having a girl with all the fruit I'm craving. Hopefully we will find out soon. If my dr doesn't do an ultrasound at my 16 week check up (she is known to do random ultra sounds. Love her for that!) and give us an idea of what the baby could be, we are going do the 3d ultrasound the following week. I seriously can't wait to find out what this baby is!

Maternity clothes: Nope, still wearing my normal jeans.
Cravings: Strawberries, oranges, and cheese.
Weight gain: up 2 pounds but I was down 8 so does that make it down 6? Whatever lets just say up 2 pounds so it doesn't get confusing.
Movement: Not yet feeling those first butterflies. I'm sure by next week I will.
Looking forward to: finding out the gender!
Wedding rings on/off: On of course. Too early for that yet.

I think next time I will hang the big chalkboard up and stand next to it. I like the look of both the big and small chalkboard though, so I will probably mix it up every week.

13 weeks

Finally the second trimester!! Seriously that seemed to last forever! I am finally eating normal agian and working out most days of the week. I am running, walking, lifting weights and taking a yoga class once a week (which I love).

So my main cravings now are pretzels with cheese, broccoli cheddar soup, cheese and crackers and the little cutie oranges ( I could eat ten in a row, I'm not kidding). Chicken salads are finally good again, in fact they taste amazing too! I have such an appreciation of food after not being able to eat very much for two months.

I am still not showing, but I can feel my uterus first thing in the morning before I go to the bathroom. I love feeling that there is actually something there. I still fit into all my normal clothes and they are actually a bit bigger on me right now. That will change soon! I really can't wait to start showing. I want to tell the world I am pregant :)

For my twelve week check-up my doctor did an ultrasound and we got to see the baby. Layne and Ethan were there with me. The baby was moving all over the place and actually resembled a little baby. So stinking cute!

Christmas 2011

Christmas flew by and so did the New Year and now we are in the second week of January! Crazy! Christmas morning was so much fun. Seeing Ethan and Alexa open their presents is the best part of it all for me. Especially Ethan because he is still so little and gets so excited easily. Santa left Ethan a big train table and scooter waiting for him in the morning. He has played with both every day since. Mostly the trains. He is obsessed with trains. Even though he has his own set now, he still wants to play with the set at the Children's Museum when we go. He is my little conducter. Here is some pics of Christmas morning

Me before we went to my inlaws for dinner and more presents. Like the kids needed any more! I am about 12 weeks pregnant here. Still not showing.

We had a perfect Christmas day. Good times with our family and the joy of seeing the excitement of the kids. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
