23 weeks

Okay I am getting behind on this! I am currently 24 weeks and two days. Oh well, I was really sick last week, so the last thing I wanted to do was get on the computer!

I love this part of my pregnancy. It is seriously my favorite. I am still small, but showing enough for people to start realizing I am pregnant. Emma moves around like a crazy little lady. She is so adorable, yes she is already adorable and I haven't even seen her face yet. I love her movements, which are super strong now. I am her punching bag and I love every second of it! We are getting anxious to meet her. My husband talks about seeing her cute face all the time. I love it :)

Maternity clothes: Nope, still wearing most of my normal jeans. I can still button a couple of them and just wear a rubber band with the others.
Weight gain: 12 pounds
Cravings: I am loving hot turkey and cheese sandwiches on whole wheat bread with avocado. Mmmmm so stinking good! I also devour a pear at least once a day and always have a bunch of fresh strawberries. Sometimes mixed with raspberries or blackberries.
Looking forward to: another ultrasound! My dr is doing an ultrasound this Monday at my appointment. I love seeing Emma on the T.V (as Ethan calls it).

Potty training

Ethan has been potty training for the past two weeks. He is doing amazing! I started by telling him for a week that his diapers were going to be gone and that he would have to wear underwear. He talked about it all week with me. I think he savored that last diaper. He didn't want to take it off. We were at Mini's when He finally had no choice and he easily put on his big boy underwear. I was amazed. He tells me now whenever he has to go and he has had very few accidents. He is however having a problem with going poop. Yesterday he grabbed a pullup (which we only use at bed time), took off his underwear and put on the pull-up, then he pooped in it. Little stinker! I think he is afraid to go on the toilet. He has gone when Layne is with him though, so maybe he is just trying to pull one over on momma! Needless to say, I am putting the pull-ups in a place where he can't reach them :)

He has even been good when we go places. We have gone out to eat, bouncing bears, children's museum, mall, and park. Not one accident while we were out! I am so excited. My goal was to have him potty trained before Emma gets here. We are early, she still has four months to go.

Here are some pics from this month of my beautiful boy. I just adore him.

 Handsome boy!
Playing at the park with his friends, Jake, Robyn, Tyler, and August

Cute underwear! I love him in his underwear. It's so stinking cute!
Fishing with Pop. He was so proud to catch 6 fish!

This is a face he gave Alexa. I think he was insulted by something, maybe that she was taking his picture.
He is OBSESSED with his rain boots. They are so cute when he wears them with shorts. I love it!

21 weeks

I have to say that weeks 20 to 30 are my favorite. You aren't too big and uncomfortable yet, but I can feel her move a lot. It's a wonderful feeling. I had my 20 week ultrasound this week and Emma was so adorable. She gave us a thumbs up, yawned, and moved all around. She kept her legs crossed the whole time. good thing I did the peek three weeks ago because I would have been super dissapointed. Dr said she still looked like a girl though. Good thing because I have been sewing like crazy, besides she is already Emma to me. I was thinking about her name the other night and realized her name stands for all our names. E for Ethan, M for Martin, M for Michelle, and A for Alexa. She was so meant to be! Here are some ultrasound pics:

Look at that perfect profile. She is going to be gorgeous!!

Maternity clothes: Nope, I am wearing my jeans still some unbuttoned with a hair tie wrapped around the button and some with a bella band.
Cravings: Hot dogs (I know gross, but I get the most natural all beef hot dogs I can get) I can't get enough of them. I eat a hot dog with a salad every day for lunch. Still love Sweet Tomatoes, we have been going there once a week to eat. It's nice becasue Ethan eats for free :)
Weight gain: Ugh! Ten pounds now. I made up for lost time this month I guess. It's alright I am still on the very low end for how far along I am. Healthy though. My dr was very happy to see I am gaining again :)
Looking forward to: My new bed! Yeah! No more matress on the floor. It should be here in the next couple days. Perfect timing because It's getting harder to pull myself up from the floor.

I am not sure if It's jsut pregnancy brain, but I could have sworn I did a post for weeks 16 and 19 and now they aren't in my archives. Hmmmm I may be going crazy. Anyways, here is weeks 19 and 21 pics:
